When will Gostisbehere be eligible to play on the Phantoms ? - MrBigglesworth
When he's finished playing college hockey. He'll be a junior this year. |

He was great for us this season and I'll be sad to see him go but I'm not shocked. He wanted more shine time to score goals...
I'll miss his infectious smile.

I really hope, now that Mr. Snider's overreaction of 2011 and subsequent further gumming up the goalie position in Philly, that he keeps his Seravalling hands off the team.
I'm hoping for a deal that lands us Halak, but would not mind 1 year of Tim Thomas. I wouldn't love it, but it'd be tolerable. |

She could've said she'd miss his "Rosey cheeks," but that'd spawn 12 pages of "Did she mean his face?" talk. |

I think Homer said at the end of the season that Laughton would be on the Flyers this year.
So barring a total melt down from Laughton look for him in a bottom six role, and hopefully he gets some PK time too.
It is a transition to go from the OHL to the NHL. There is nothing wrong with him starting in a checking role, maybe some PK time, ~12 minutes a game in his first full season. Going to 82 games is a big move. I don't see this year as a waste of his entry level deal. I think he has a role and can help the team. It is not like he is some elite OHL scorer who needs to play top six to be effective, anyway. He is going to be a 2 way center, so this is perfect for him.
I can't wait to see him play, personally. |

No. Once he makes any money playing professional hockey, his amateur (collegiate) days are over. |

Laughton is ready. There is possibly a greater chance of stunting his growth by sending him back to junior. He projects as a top notch 3rd line center with a smaller chance of 2nd line center. He is ripe for 4th line and PK duties. You tell the kid go out there and be a bulldog and don't get scored on against other bottom 6 lines. That's all he needs to worry about. |

He'd be a fool to leave college before he would be eligible to play in the AHL, at the very least.
I think he turned 20 in April. |
