So with Emery off the market, other than Thomas, and Halak what are the realistic goaltending options? - PLindbergh31
What about Lateton.... |

loved Jokinen doing like 6 laps around the ice before finally taking the puck at center
*6 is a complete exaggeration - Crimsoninja
but Joks was flying at full on top speed when he came out of his loop de loop, I was thinking poor Bouch, he is toast now... I was sitting at ice level and the speed of the game is amazing there, but Ollie he was really moving...
I though he would score for sure...
And then THE SAVE!
Bouch does his dance,
Bedlam ensues
Will never forget |

Haven't heard his named mentioned. He's pretty solid. I wouldn't mind him. |

Also, we traded John Carlson/Jacob Markstrom for Steve Eminger due to 1 good playoff game. - jmatchett383
And then turned him into Matt Carle. Please finish the string next time so it doesn't show an obvious bias. Ty |

Boucher beating Lundqvist in a shootout, coupled with the comeback against the Bruins I thought the stars were aligned.

I'd call Anaheim and see if they would trade one of theirs for a reasonable deal.

I was going to ask, if anyone here had interest in the waiver boys today. Kris Russell, Greg Zanon, Hall Gill, Matt Hunwick. Also, can anyone confirm that Blum was not qualified? My take would be to claim Russell, sign Blum, and deal a higher salary d-man.
Also, Ballard cleared waivers and Jeff Shultz is on buyout waivers today. If Ballard gets put on buyout waivers, do we have any interest in either of these guys? Lots of 4-6 d-men becoming available, some younger ones too. - Rocktane
I'd add Russell and/or Blum in a heartbeat. |

I like your plan. Claim Russell, sign Blum, trade Coburn and additional goods for BOB RYAB FIST, and (sadly) send Meszaros to the knackers. |

But, but Matt Carle is softer than cheeze whiz and is useless without Pronger? |

If one believes the rumors in the first place, yes. What if he goes to Dallas and sucks? Is it really a miss? |

Flyers coming from behind against the Rangers was almost unheard of too.
I guess the Rangers dominance over the Flyers started the next season, but still they were in lock down full trap mode with a 1 goal lead late in the third, when human whipping post Matt Carle zooms in from the point to score the tying goal. |

This is the same fan base that wanted Gomez or Drury over Briere -- and views the Briere signing as bad. Revisionist historians... |

Other fan bases think Carle is soft as butter. Just go on the TB forum and see. |

What a team full of "gutless pukes" they were, to quote one poster here at the time. |

If he signs in Dallas for a term of 3 years I will be a bit sad, but for 4-5 years it is a win for the Flyers not to have him |

Technically, it was Steve Downie and Eminger. So basically, 2 1st round picks. |
