Not sure anyone is crucifying the Flyers. I think the entire Bryzgalov fiasco has left a little yolk on the brows, and omelettes on the suites of Flyers brass. - PLindbergh31

Brown. Leafs tough guy, and IMO the best pound for pound guy in the league. |

Flyers have a kick-ass roster for NHL 13 if you use the default roster. Kubina's trade value is huge. |

Not a typo. I started calling him McGrinn after he posted this picture...

Bless you for this moment of sanity....
May we as fans never forget to laugh at the craziness - and remember all the player's struggles through mockery.
Now back to the Lecavelier bashing.... |

Yep. Very tough dude. When McGinn dropped the gloves with him I'm thinking he saw a guy somewhat small in stature and maybe didn't quit know Brown's fighting pedigree. |

Considering it fractured his orbital bone I think he knows now...
I just hope it doesn't take the fire out of him... |

What mode do you play for trading and things? I haven't played the game in forever, but I always played VS.

so, of topic as usual, tonight Glendale votes on the arena lease deal. Incoming ownership wants to get 15 million a year to manage the arena. They think they can get some of it back to them in fees and taxes.
Other companies say they can manage the arena for $300,000 and have proposals on the table.
How stupid is Glendale going to be? |

I liked what I saw from McGinn last year. I think he can be a solid 3rd/4th line player. |

I propose we adopt the "McGrinn" name for him from now on. That's golden. |

that Brown is an experienced fighter
IIRC he waited out McGinn, let him tire himself out, then beat the snot out of him
rookie got schooled
Rick Rypien (RIP) was the toughest pound for pound fighter I can think of from the recent years |

At least he could take a punch (minus Brashear/Parros). He was always ready to go. |

Looks like we just drafted that guy in the third round. That kid can throw. Let's hope he's the next Tocchet. |

Rypien was a tough SOB. I think you have to put Rinaldo in that category. He hasn't lost very many fights, and often handles guys much bigger than himself.
I can't believe Rinaldo has never been cut in a fight before at any level. That amazes me. |

Is Kubina still alive?
He kind of just disappeared. Our defense is actually one of the best in the game when you use default roster
Anyone know Streit's overall rating in NHL 13? |

He also hasn't fought many of the heavyweights. He's good, but even though Penner is bigger, he's not really a fighter. |
