The Flyers are in prime position...

Vinny is a younger and less damaged than Briere, but I actually think Briere could score 30 goals playing on Crosby's wing assuming they both play 70+ games.

Anywhere else I think he'll be disappointing.

i think they will both be detrimental for whoever signs both of them. on a shorter term deal, vinny could be interesting. but if these 5 for 5 rumors are true, that is trouble. i think he would present a major headache for the flyers dealing with that contract in a year or two.

and briere is just so rough at wing, especially at this point of his career. even with crosby as his center, i just dont know if the offense would be worth dealing with his extreme lack of defense.
