I don't see the need for this. I don't like the elderliness we're adding. Not a lot of room, I feel like this means we will not be keeping all of Couts, Schenn, and Read past this year.

Well, we just need to let it play out. I'm not enthused with it. I'd rather use the Cap space to upgrade the defense. Adding both Streit and Lecavalier is going to make it more difficult to add that top defenseman, if a situation arises where one is available.
