Why the (frank) would the Flyers deal a defenceman away? Offensively their overstocked, so dealing a forward for a defenceman would make sense, not taking away from a poopty blueline to pick up an even pooptyier dman.

I would be happy with that D going into the season. Hopefully Belov or Klefbom could really surprise us in camp and steal somebody's spot in the top 6. Gives us trade bait or we keep them all year because there will be injuries in a full season. Look at Boston in the finals. They had 10 guys capable of playing top 6 defensive minutes

Getting stuck playing with poopney will do that. In that situation, Klefbom should be in the AHL getting prime minutes so we should keep Potter around. Thats also a pretty expensive D and rides its stability on Schultz's ability not to succumb to the all too common sophomore slump (see Jamie McBain, Jonathan Blum, Tom Gilbert, etc).
