I swear to god if they try for Phaneuf I will actually throw up all over my desk.
We hate him and he hates us. It's not compatible. Jagr is a nice person, Phaneuf is a doucher and a horrible leader. That's why Toronto wants to trade him in the first place. Bad attitude and a bad leader.

Yea Edler is everything theyre looking for imo, worth inquiring about atleast. His cap hit is great for being a true #1.

Probably but if they can get Coburn, a big, solid #4-#3 shutdown guy back as part of the deal, maybe they'd be more open.

Yea I was going off an Ottawa Sun report, for whatever thats worth. But its discussed in Canucks threads on various site currently. They have 16 players signed with 7.4 in cap space so maybe they need to move around someone.

No we were able to come to terms with Vinny because he was bought out, and is therefore allowed to speak to teams and sign a contract before free agency. Players starting today were able to start visiting cities of teams they are interested in, but I don't believe they're allowed to start talking contracts until Friday.

That was a PTO contract, which is different from an actual contract.

RFA's must be re-signed by December 1st to be eligible to play that season. Not sure there's a rule for UFAs, although if a UFA plays outside of North America, he has to clear waivers if he signs with a NHL team
