HABS COULDNT GET LECAVALAID - Crimsoninja
At the draft next year...
The Flyers in their own arena will trade Vincent Lecavalier to the Montreal Canadiens for PK Subban and a 1st rounder. |

I mean, here is crims just trolling, then you have Marty attacking him with the picture of a guy who will never play again and might never heal properly. |

Good chance he will go to London with Hunter. He's get a good chance to work on his game and play a lot. I think it would be much better than the NCAA for the style he wants to play. - Symba007
Bergevin didn't wanted to say it but it was pretty obvious he would prefer to see him go there.
McCarron spoke about it with Tinordi today apparently, he was in the same situation, supposed to go to Notre-Dame but choose London instead. |

I really think McCarron would grow if he played against men in the Elitserien. |

meh. i've lived here most of my 30 years. and i've seen plenty of hockey players out and about at restaurants, bars. i have never once seen any of them approached by fans/strangers. - DoubleDown
Agreed Double D. I lived downtown Toronto for years and saw hockey players walking around just about every other day. I think the most attention I ever saw one get was someone saying "great game". I don't ever remember seeing any of them being asked for an autograph. |

Do you expect he'll be the starter or backing up Mason in goal? |

Eric Engels: Lecavalier: Not a Romantic... - EricEngels
1) Vincent Lecavalier's inevitable decision to play with the Philadelphia Flyers helped confirm what we've long known about this era of professional sport; romance is dead.
romance is the "dream" of the organization and the fan base. clearly, not so for "the one's that got away."
lecavalier was the old dream. in a few years, we'll be debating price for huberdeau.
from failing hands we pass the torch..... |
