You guys will get Clarksson at 6.5M$/per - BashCH
Then he scores 15 goals a year for the rest of his life and gets Kulemanized...except because he's Canadian he's a heart and soul guy and not a heartless Russian. |

GTFO!
BTW, did you read Grabovski's comments? Boy he's (frank)ing pissed! - Pecafan Fan
 Yeah I saw that.
If only he showed that kind of passion every game.
Some games he was the best player on the ice. Hitting, scoring etc. Other games he was invisible.
I like Grabovski. I think he will be a great fit in Calgary (maybe) but he really didn't have a place in Carlyle's system.
That was an awful contract also. |

This is pretty (frank)ing funny. From some kid who is an "aspiring player agent."
"As the Leafs’ No. 1 centre, the diversity of the minutes Bozak has played places him in elite company. Last year, Bozak averaged 20:18 minutes a game, with 2:58 on the power play and 1:38 short-handed.
The only other forwards to average 20 minutes, with over two minutes on the power play and 1.5 minutes shorthanded are:
Ilya Kovalchuk (15 years, $100 million)
Jordan Staal (10 years, $60 million)
Mikko Koivu (7 years, $47.25 million)
Jason Pominville (5 years, $26.5 million; signed as a restricted free agent)
Matt Duchene (2 years, $7 million; restricted)
Derek Stepan (3 years, $2.46 million; restricted)
Ryan Callahan (3 years, $12.8 million; restricted)
Claude Giroux (3 years, $11.25 million; restricted)
While Kovalchuk has truly separated himself from the other UFAs from an offensive standpoint, can the same really be said about comparables like Staal and Koivu? "

Don't worry, at least you guys got Versteeg Bolland from the cup winning Blackhawks. |

Man don't you know, only Kovalchuk has separated himself offensively from Bozak!
You know...that same Bozak who has never hit 50 points - AdamFrench
Playing on the 1st line getting a ton of undeserved PP time. |

See the difference here is when the Leafs signed Versteeg it was to play on the first line.
Bolland was signed to play on the third line.
Pretty lame comparison. |

Well...we don't know if Bolland will be playing on the third. Nonis said he would get a chance to play an offensive role.
Though this is the disciple of the guy who said JVR would be the first line centre... |

The Leafs got a 3rd line guy from the cup winning Blackhawks...wasn't comparing the players but the situation. Hope for you guys that this one turns out to be better. |

So can all of the twitter copy and pasters reach a deal so each insider is only copy and pasted once rather than each and every one of you telling us what our twitter feeds already did? |

I know how you feel.
But hey, let's just wait and see.
If he manages to pull a trade which involves DD/Gionta... having Brière doesn't look so bad.
And while he clearly doesn't make us bigger.... can't really argue with the fact he's a good player.... |
