As long as he stops the puck, it's all good with me.
If Bryzgalov could have just been more consistent, the nonsense around him would have been tolerable. If the guy's winning you games, he's not a jackass, he's a colorful character - Jsaquella
In response I posted a thought on why bryzgalov was not able to be consistent several months ago...I simply stated I thought he did not have enough of the qualities as a prerequisite to be an elite tender. I mentioned 3 or 4 qualities I thought were paramount to a goalies success (too long to reiterate at midnight) |

I have always been a fan of him personally and even though he is a headcase, there is no denying he can keep the puck out of the net. When he is on the ice ...he wants to win and will do whatever he has to do to make sure that happens ...love the guys dedication of not giving up on plays... and just like Dennis Rodman ...go ahead and be yourself, look and act however you want ...just perform and nobody cares. |

Why would anyone sign Jagr when John LeClair is well rested?
Pronger is (frank)ing with us, he will be back in a Big Way.
Congrats on the Vinny signing you (frank)ers, good price.
Why not consider Nabby as a 1B? |

Yep, I would roll the dice on him. 1 yr max, 3M max- would prefer less of course. Wouldn't mind if they go another direction. Just please don't trade the kids Homer. |

Nabby would be a fine pick up if he is cheap. 2.75M/yr, 2 yr max. |

hopefully it's a good omen that they both wore numbers that were worn by former flyers who earned the honor of having their numbers retired. |

I hope Pronger personally mentors young Morin and his game skyrockets, if that's what you mean
Damn right it's a good price
Nabby is an option, imo Thomas is a better one. Nabby wants to stay an Islander, and Thomas is looking to prove something. Thomas has also always been the better goalie, so I think he's the best way to go. |

I think the Big Question for the Flyers is how the room is going to react to Lindros. |

I think that Friday they announce a deal with Thomas for 1 year at $3mm. Too many stars seem to be aligning for it not to happen - Jsaquella
I think Vinny made the Flyers a very attractive venue lately. |

Interesting how Thomas' agent reportedly contacted the flyers. I don't see how this isn't a done deal |

It is impressive how many big name UFAs come to Philly isn't it. I know we are always willing to overpay but there is more to it. Goalies beware though...2 real will booo your sorry a$$ |

A surprisingly small number of teams actually need a starting goalie. |
