Am I wrong but hasn't he already played for the Phantoms? Like after his season in junior? - dingo8urbaby
You can play after your junior season ends. But if you're under 20 playing in the CHL, you're not eligible for a full AHL season. He either plays in the OHL or NHL.
It's the same reason Carter played with the Phantoms in the 03/04 playoffs, played juniors in 04/05, and the he and Richards played with them in the 04/05 playoffs. |

Could play him on the wing. Giroux played his first season as a RW.
Also, signing Adam Hall to a 1-year deal for (about) the league minimum should not impact a guy who, in a draft review of last year's draft, was considered the 13th best pick. It's Adam Hall for 1 year. - jmatchett383
Yea. I think it has nothing to do with him. It's 600k
Still think Laughton is on the big club. But doesn't hurt to get a hall in here to show the kid he better be ready to earn his way on |

I kind of thought so. Does anyone think talbots in play? I think it's a possibility - Just5
talbot is better on wing
maybe we'll actually use people where they're most effective next year |

It's an agreement to keep it so that all 18-year-olds don't jump ship to the AHL. It keeps them in the CHL longer so that the CHL teams keep competitive longer. |

Am I missing something? We resigned Hall? So we have Giroux, Schenn, Couterier, Talbot, Lecavier, Hall and Laughton who are going to play center for us. I know some can play wing, it still too many. And 9 defense men as well. Is there a trade I'm missing? |

Cool so is Gags now not coming back? Because with this signing all forward pisitions are filled if Laughton plays wing. |

Schenn was going to end up as a winger anyway. Laughton can come up playing wing (like I said, it's how Giroux came up). Talbot played mostly wing last year. As for D, there are 7 players slated to be defenseman for opening night. Chances are one will be gone by Saturday morning.
Everyone needs to stop worrying. |
