I think people need to move on from Gagne. - stveshdy
He actually fit nicely on our 3rd line well, had good chemistry with Talbot, is a good two-way player that is fit for a defensive line, and was willing to take a salary cut to come back. He did make sense to bring back beyond just that he is a familiar face. |

I don't think the front office has a plan for Laughton to play in the AHL. I think Coots is gone for a dman and Cob urn and read are gone for a top notch winger for G - Deasr1
I wish it was B Schenn not Sean. |

How the hell does edm land Phillipe Larsen and a 7th for horcoff? I thought this Dallas GM was a Detroit product? This doesn't sound very savy - Just5
Is that the deal?
Maybe they'll take Mez for a couple of 2nd round picks. |

NHL - Flyers source explained to me that Coburn is Phillys easiest Dman to move, however no offer would improve the current Flyers roster..
Rich Smith @ALLsportsINTEL 5m
NHL - Flyers Continued - so the Flyers have turned their attention to moving Meszaros and Grossman. While Coburn remains a trade option ....

G was a winger in junior and converted to center when he made it to the Flyers. Scott is a center and you shouldn't convert to wing if you can play center. There's no real need to rush him. - cfish99
No, he converted to center part way through 08/09. Prior to that, in his 07/08 callup and the first 1/2 of 08/09, he was a RW. Briere, Carter, and Richards were our top 3 centers. He shifted to center when Briere was injured. |

FLYERS - Source - The plan was always to take care of Giroux and see where they stand afterwards, now that's taken care of comes the moves.

Again...Laughton cannot play in the AHL this season unless he waits until the OHL season is over. |

gags was pretty solid last season
I was actually surprised it took a while for Lavi to use him on the PK
him and G would wreck havoc

Happy 4th of July everybody. Glad we got G locked up. He deserves the pay increase. Can't wait to see what other moves Homer makes. Go Flyers! |

If they only had two million to play with. Unfortunately they need a goalie and some space. |

Idk... I'd be sad to see Sean leave, but if we trade him for a young stud dman of a similar age, and Laughton ends up developing into the solid two-way second liner he is supposed to become (and looks to be turning into so far), then it could all be for the best. The key aspect for me though is that the Dman should have to be of a similar age to Coots and should have top pairing potential. Even if we have to give Coots + non roster pieces to get it, I think it'd be good. |

In all fairness to Horc it was only his contract that made him look bad. He s a solid 3rd line C and a good 3 zone player. Nothing but good things to say about him.....but it was time, and good on MacT for making that deal. |

G went from wing to center he was drafted as a wing. Scott is a center he was drafted as a center. When G moved to center wasn't really the point. |

Could be. I would be on board if they could acquire either of those two. But then what about Hartnell? |
