yes, but at that point you aren't able to sign a replacement and if the season has already started you couldn't bring up either of the two 1st rounders they drafted this year.

I think this would be a serious win for the canucks if they could move edler for plekanec, he's not the biggest guy but if kesler could play the wing with plekanec at center I think it immediately upgrades the canucks up front in a big way. Underrated player IMO. I like the guy

Philly just added Lecavalier to Giroux/Schenn/Couturier. So they're DEEP at C & need more quality on the back end. If we're dealing Edler & Tanev expects $2+ million I'd rather see:

To PHI: Edler, Tanev, Hansen
To VAN: Schenn, Schenn, Read

I would love to see how Edler responds to a new voice. He's got ridiculous potential, he just needs to unleash it.

I'm only trading him if the return blows me away.
