Hendricks/Gordon/Campbell/Malhotra - one or 2 of those players would be very nice.

Wild lost Gilbert, got Ballard. Pretty even swap IMO, did not improve, just made a lateral move and got more cap space. Also lost fan favorite Clutterbuck for Nutjob Nino

Ballard much better than Gilbert IMO last year. Gilbert was terrible in the 1st round. Ballard will be a 3-4 for them and Gilbert was 6-7 at the end of the year.

They have the space now but I haven't seen anything about them keeping him.

The reason they moved Seguin is Soderburg. Of course, they also moved Peverly so Campbell may be needed now.

We will see.

You're right. Long day. Glad to see Columbus in the East. Our division will be tougher though. Nashville will be better. Wild got Ballard very cheap. He gives them some D depth they needed badly. St. Louis still has moves to make - trade a G or sign UFAs or both.

I'm glad to see Columbus in the East, too; they have taken on the underdog role to me and now I can root for them more than I could if they were in our division. I am looking forward to these new divisions and the rivalries.

Does anyone know how the playoff seedings will work next year? Do teams play the early rounds within the new divisions, or are the Western Conference teams seeded as a group like in years past?
