12.86 cap hit, or 20% of the cap is the max salary allowed under the CBA.

I was very leery about a multi year deal. I'm still a bit concerned. If Rayzor gets hurt and Mason stinks the Flyers are in trouble. But on a one year deal? Could have been much worse.

a very good off season so far

got a good puck mover even if he is past his prime years
a big 2nd center, even if past prime date also
and hopefully one of the two goalies can be good

and two defenseman in the draft

Well first of this is my first year following him so I don't you to get the idea I have been following him for years.....he called Vinny to us before anyone, this morning he called Alfie to wings hours before it hit the circuit, if Scuderi goes back to Pitt he would be the first to call that.....he actually seems to have his stuff together. If the flyers totally pull a rabbit out of their hat and get E Kane or Ryan then I will follow him forever.....we will see, my true first impression of him will be established after today, but he is off to a good start
