exactly. im not saying there wont be some casualties. look at scuderi the first cup go round. it does happen. but teams waiting for guys like malkin or giroux to be forced elsewhere due to the cap are ridiculous.

TSN has vinny as top FA forward available and emery as top FA goalie available and flyers got both.

Wrong on the salary cap.
Bill did a great article explaining how the Flyers are not in bad shape next year or even this year.
A combo of things including the cap going up, Pronger LTIR, Mez or Coburn moving, Timonnen retiring.
