They won't have trouble scoring goals. Luckily Carle is still on their blueline. |

Free agency isn't over yet. He's a great team guy and good for the locker room. - stveshdy
That's the hockey equivalent of "she has a great personality". |

Pietrangelo is untouchable, Hamilton and OEL maybe not. You'd think those 2 would be untouchable, but Boston and Pheonix both have tremendous depth in their prospect pool on defense. Honestly, Pheonix has another OEL growing right now in Brandon Gormley. They also have Rundblad who is likely to grow into a top pairing talent as well. Boston has the recent emergence of Krug and Bartowski to grow on, as well as the recent acquisition of Joe Morrow, who could definitely grow into a top pairing guy. - JAKEw1234
If they could do Read, Coburn, and Coots for OEL, I'd be severely tempted. |

I need a trade. I'm surprised there haven't been more trades. Now that some of the top players are gone teams will need to fill needs in another direction. |

I've got to believe Hamilton's untouchable at this time unless he was Seguin's wingman during their post-midnight PO romps. |

Ok.... Free Agency has become boring by 3pm.
Do something Holmgren. NHL 14 GM mode activate. - PLindbergh31
Been saying to myself last 30-45 mins its slowed down a bunch. Trade chatter should start soon for all the teams who missed out on guys they wanted. |

I'd seriously hope that we get OEL + for that kind of package. Remember the EDM fan in here yesterday suggesting Coburn for MPS and a 1st rounder? Of course he's not worth that much but he's still got decent value. Read has more value than Coburn, and is definitely a valuable trade piece because of his ability to morph into any lineup... Any team could honestly just pick a forward need they have and Read would be the answer for them. Need PK? Try Read. PP? Read's your guy. 1st liner? Go Read. need a strong 2nd liner? Well there's this guy named Read.
And Coots speaks for himself. |

The Flyers now have 14 forwards if Gagne is signed and that's not including Laughton, if you think the Flyers are done they're not. |

All I do is criticize and complain about every transaction though.
I mean I went apepoop when they signed Shelley, traded Gagne for Walker, signed the likes of Lilja, Gervais, Leighton X2, etc.... boy I sure look dumb now.
