I think STL waiting on him, but I dont think he would mind. If someone makes a huge offer he gets paid, STL just may not want to set the market and bid against themselves.

Pietrangelo told St. Louis not to talk to him unless they start with 7MM. That's all speculation though.

All I do is criticize and complain about every transaction though.

I mean I went apepoop when they signed Shelley, traded Gagne for Walker, signed the likes of Lilja, Gervais, Leighton X2, etc.... boy I sure look dumb now.

there have been several less than stellar moves with these 2 year deals on fringe players. injuries have wreaked havoc - as usal - the lockout screwed up stuff, the bryz circus etc. criticism has been warranted, but it's not been all bad.

there's a lot of talent on this group, and everyone's healthy - a lot to like, and a lot of motivation with missing the playoffs last year. i guarantee they won't miss again. how far will they go? so much is changing right now league-wide between players moves, conference realignment, new playoff structure. will be interesting.

its obvious that bryz is no longer welcome in the nhl, i was glad when we signed him and glad when we bought him out, im just curious if hewould have drawn any interest in the ufa market before we traded for his rights and gave him the keys to the city, i just still feel we could have got him alot cheaper then what we gave him

Why don't people think we can resign players like Read next season? We have 11 Mil coming off the books and the cap might go up in excess of 10 mil. That's 21 mil in cap space, less Giroux's 4 mil bump. Who knows what the Canadian TV contract will bring in... Could go higher.
