Frankly I wasn't expecting much today, so not so disappointing for me. I wanted a goalie...was hoping for Halak, but if it's Nabby so be it.

I'd like a first-line winger and a quality D-man, but I sort of expected those spots would be filled from within, or perhaps through a quieter Vis-type trade...certainly didn't expect the Isles to fill those spots on the first day of FA when the prices for anyone worth anything are generally too rich for the Isles. If we get a quality player today, cool. If not, I'm still interested to see what players like Nelson, Strome and Donovan can contribute next season.

I think this is Poulin's year to make it happen. Nabby will be splitting time with him this year. If he works out I could see Nabby Shipped at Deadline and bringing up one of the other kids.
