The owners dont give a flying $#*%! because in the end.... its the fans who pay the contacts. $200,$300, $400 and more for a ticket to a game.

Keith Aucoin agreed to a one year deal at $625K with STL.

Glad he got a job somewhere...also glad it wasn't with the Isles again, but he was a good soldier and stopgap last season.

I think that was the plan all along...Nelson and Donovan will be with Islanders at the end of camp...they'll have Strome, Lee, Pedan and Mayfield in Bridgeport as first callups in case of injuries....

I think Bouchard is strictly a W. I could be wrong though.

Still would like to see us get another adult for the rearguard. Other than that, I like this team, as long as the goaltending holds up.

I'm not crazy about it either. I like that the Isles are staying away from a lot of these guys. I would have made a serious run at Weiss and Scuderi of course. It is what it is.
