Good point. I really hope the Isles have serious interest in Scuderi. He would be a huge piece added to the mix and someone worth overpaying for.

Anyone with any game will have to B overpaid. Its the nature of the beast.

In a couple of years Ed Snider will lead the charge to ammend the cba to include a second round of amnesty buyouts. The NHL will agree and include a clause that allows Pennsylvania teams to exceed the cap by 15%.

This free agency period will prove that the Icelanders are a tough sale and IT has NOTHING to do with the arena which Snow and Wang have continually spewed as the issue in signing free agents. The uncertainty of where they will be playing is also gone now that Brooklyn is on the horizon.

So...will they be right or will it be the same old Icelanders. So far, Briere has spurned them. Lets see who we could add to the list.
