If coutorier gets you Sven Baertschi and a pick I'd do it. But that doesn't fit a need. Their defensive prospects are average at best, but the pick could land a top defensive pairing guy. The key is jetisoning Mez's contract. Feaster might be dumb enough to take on mez, but I doubt him giving Baertschi and their no. 1 pick for cooter and mez. - the deaninator

Pietrangs cant be happy with that offer. |

90% is bit bit of a presumption
I thought Ottawa would do poorly last season when they lost Spezza, Michalek, Karlsson, and Anderson, and they were left with essentially a roster of prospects and fillers. Look at how that ended. - JAKEw1234

SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $68,882,500; BONUSES: $1,432,500
CAP SPACE (26-man roster): -$3,150,000
How does that guy do math? Even if Pietrangelo for some reason settled for $6.5, and Stewart for some crazy reason resigned for $2.5, they would still be over the cap. |

No Leon Draisaitl. The article says Draisaitl will be most likely to challenge Reinhart for 1st overall. |

So everyone got the weekend off eh? We have a frenzy of trades and signings friday and then everything goes silent over the weekend. I am interested to know if we will be able to move Meszaros and I am hoping Gagne is a possibility. Outside of the Flyers, I wanna know whereas Jagr lands next. If Bryzgalov has any interest at all in him. I don't think Doug Murray or Brendan Morrow found homes yet. Will other players be bought out? |
