i think a coots for bogosian would be worth it for both sides. both sides are taking a risk, but have the possibility for huge growth in potential, while still getting young competency now.

the deal involving kane is ridiculous from a jets standpoint. kane would fetch a huge haul for them.

i realistically think the flyers are one of the only teams with the young goods necessary to acquire kane, but it would gut the core movement to the point where i dont know if it would be worth it for you guys, as much as i like him.

i honestly dont know how i could make observations on what ive seen about his personality without sounding incredibly racist, so i just wont even touch on that issue. ill just say that im not a huge fan.

however, im not biased when it comes to his production on the ice. 30 to 40 goals looks the same on the scoresheet, regardless of the color of who put them in the net haha

He's a stud on the ice. I think he's been a fairly good guy off the ice from what I have seen.

I could care less if a player is purple with pink polka dots, as long as he performs.

It wouldn't be awful. But Bogosian has had a slow developmental curve, compared to the other defensemen in his class.

I'm staying in an area nearest Washington and Clinton, New Jersey. It shouldn't be too far. It's just a matter of getting directions.

Wow...I just looked, and Schenn averages more than 1 hit/game more than Bogosian. Didn't know it was THAT different. Bogo's no slouch, though. he had 2.4 hits/game last year, but Schenn had just under 4/game.

he is an absolute stud. im just not a huge fan of the whole dolla billz, YMCMB thing he has going on. but still, regardless of skin color, he is a young person with a poop ton of money. if the worst thing he has going on is a little brashness, then hes ahead of the game. not illegal or detrimental to the team in any way. id gladly take him any day

Schenn has led all defenseman in hits for the past 3 seasons, so it's pretty hard for any defenseman to be more physical than Schenn.

Before you leave, check to see where and when Zac Rinaldo was drafted.

Zach is a good player, but he is a role player. If he retired tomorrow they would slot someone else in and be just fine. Harry z could have taken that role and cost them nothing. By significant I mean 1st or 2nd line forward or 1-4 defense.

And I'm not even expecting a Weber or Bergeron 2nd round grand slam either. But they should have been able to draft one kulemin, or lucic, or Dubinsky or Goligoski.

I never understood the point of testing NHL players on the high jump. Seems pointless.
