I dont think the unit would get worse. I think it would be about the same. The second unit would be a lot better, which would make the team and overall power play better.

They're different players. The PP is designed for Giroux to QB the PP along the left half boards. Timonen is at the point, Hartnell is in the high slot, Simmonds is parked in front of the net and Voracek roams the right side. I think Lecavalier can take Voraceks spot because he is a smart player with a good one timer.

Voracek can then go to the second unit and qb that PP. I think, after Giroux, he is the next most qualified player to QB a PP. The second unit struggled to get settled in the zone and get pucks through. Voracek and Streit will help with both of those things.

I don't think Vinny can. I think the second unit would have trouble entering the zone as they did last year.

I think Vinny is a complimentary piece at this point. Voracek is a guy who can make things happen.

They'll still get much less TOI. Voracek's minutes will be slashed by a very sizeable amount. Then his production will go down. Then people will wonder why his production's gone down. Then everyone will want to trade him
