There is a new CFL team (Ottawa) that has released their official new name as the "Redblacks"

When the team as a whole begins to start a greater percentage of their shifts in the o-zone, Giroux will as well, just by function of being a 21:00/game forward. The Flyers zone-starts were skewed this past season from being terrible at 5V5, not being able to get the puck out of their zone, Bryz being a bad puck-handler and freezing the puck for FO's, etc.

I agree that's definitely part of it. But even if they aren't a better 5 on 5 team. They can still better utilize their personnel by using players like Hall for D zone draws on the PK, and late in games when they have the lead. And in key defensive situations in games. They can also reduce the amount of defensive zone draws on the PK, by simply taking less penalties. Doesn't change anything. Regardless of any of that. You still want to use Giroux in more offensive situations. And less defensive situations. Adding a 2nd quality faceoff option to the team will allow the Flyers to do that. If they choose to.
