K whatever so is everyone else lol and a have reasons why I would have all those played over Gagner - 6Karlsson5
"having a reason" doesn't disqualify you from being a homer necessarily. Maybe I'd rather have Schultz than Erik Karlsson because I already have a Schultz jersey |

What would your price be? - JAKEw1234
B.Schenn, Coutourier, Simmonds. Might be a ridiculous ask but Hall is going nowhere without an overpayment like that. |

Why would you have Turris over Gagner? Cause he plays for the Senators? I can sort of understand Zibby, but as of yet I don't see any reason to believe he'll ever be better than Gagner, considering Gagner is still only 23 and hasn't realized his potential yet. I bet you'd rather have Turris than Simmonds, too |

turris never surpassed 30 points in a season. gagner never surpassed 50 points in a season. both would have probably surpassed those point marks if it wasn't a shorten season, but even though gagner has a higher point per game average than turris. 0.79 vs 0.6. to me, zibby could even make turris expendable within the next year or two. all three players are young and can still have more potential heading into their prime. |

Ya I see what you mean. That's the kind of package that can get you Weber, but Hall is a 1st overall pick that will be one of the top scorers in the league soon, so I can see why you'd ask for that. |

What would your price be? - JAKEw1234
The price for Hall would be something everyone would consider ridiculous.
This is because people don't understand supply and demand.
Where do you go to replace a Taylor Hall?
Answer:
You finish last, in a year where there even IS a Taylor Hall calibre player, then you win the lottery, then you wait 3-4 years until he develops.
In other words, he is worth a ridiculous amount on the trade market. |

It's not really a debate if the Leafs' fans only point is that he's good because he plays for us and we're the best team in the league |

Or you just give Yakupov a bigger role... You guys have tons of potential 1st line players, I don't know why you act as if you must keep all of them and trade your lesser assets to get continually more 1st line players. You just want a team full of 1st line players |

I never knew until this year how much Ottawa fans over value their players. I think as Oiler fans we over value our 5 or at least know their future worth. However we under value everyone else. Smid, gagner, Hemsky... all under valued by most people on here. People didn't think we would get something for Horcoff and we ended up getting a guy that might eventually make the team. I think Hemsky is going to bring us a prospect and a pick or be instrumental in a larger trade.
However I am not against keeping him either. Lets face it, the Oil are not addressing our third line (Jones and Eager are MAYBYs in my book), why not keep Hemsky if there is nothing out there. Calling a spade a spade, our team isn't the most injury prone. With the exception of guys like Smid and Gagner, whom everyone wants to send out on the next plane. |

He can do the Zibby over Gagner thing based on potential, but I better not catching him slagging Oilers fans for liking their young stars potential. I'll keep my eyes peeled - Morris
Wait until Maclean's act wears thin in Ottawa.
I think we are going to see a fall-back this year for the Sens. |
