What was MacT saying before the draft or did all of you just simply tune out??
He was not satisfied with the goaltending & anything is possible as far as moves go. Did you forget he almost traded for Schneider?? What the hell does that prove about your so-called Dubey not being the problem??
Dubey would have been out of Edmonton so fast had the Schneider trade went down, you wouldn't have had time to say good-bye.
Miller & Luongo have been mentioned before as well but maybe Darren Dreger & Bob Mackenzie don't know as much as you guys!! - newmy

cause if so, you`d be able to understand that neither mackenze nor dreger ever said unequivocally that mact ever kicked tires on either lu or miller. those two are rumour guys. they talk about who's potentially available and who MIGHT be interested. theyre always carefull with their words and never commited one way 100% on any of those rumours. which of course is about 100 -1 false to true of course right??!! pay closer attention
the dubnyk out of Edmonton fast comment was pretty silly too. so if was someone other than Schneider was coming, dubnyk would've left slower? like only took a cab ot the airport

I guess when the Oilers were pissed that New Jersey swooped in & acquired Schneider(did you see the reaction at their table) for a 1st only that didn't tell the story right there.
It did because if you aren't smart enough to know the Oilers had a better deal for him then you are completely out to lunch.

Dreger said that the price for EDM was 7th overall+top prospect+2nd round pick. So, no, EDM didn't have a better deal, but thanks for sourcing where you didn't hear this.
Maybe Gillis was looking to see what he could get n MacT saw a shot to land an elite goalie. If I told you I'd trade someone my prized signed jersey, you'd inquire about it, but you wouldn't if I hadn't put it out there.
