Absolutely wicked. Love em. Question. Have you heard the theory that white pads are best for tenders as shooters can't pick up the holes as fast? I remember Fleury switching from yellow because an optometrist told him that the first colour eyes pick up is yellow. I've got two sets of customs reebok Pz pads and blocker/trappe one is red and the other white. I alternate depending on the jersey we wear. Haven't seen a dif and wonder what ur thoughts are.

Just to play devils advocate for a second, During Holmgren's era the Flyers are tied for second least with 30 picks. Which accentuates the claims that he trades draft picks like they are Holiday gift cards. I don't mind doing this if it's done the right way. Throwing picks away for stop gaps like Pavel Kubina is what I don't like.

And the average # of games played, how much of this number is inflated due to a ridiculous number of injuries? Calling kids up out of necessity who aren't ready to play in the NHL doesn't really reflect strong drafting imo.

I, for one, find it hard to believe Homer's job is in jeopardy....

I think he's done well this summer. If the team gets off to a slow start next year, I wouldn't feel comfortable with Hextall in the mix now.

If the Flyers miss the playoffs this year, I think both Holmgren and Laviolette are certainly gone.
