Do they ban IPs? Why not just make a new account? - JAKEw1234
At the time, with so many people getting banned and making new accounts, if you wanted to create an account you had to give a phone number and verify the account.
We had all colours of "injas" bouncing around the thread. They we're like Power Rangers. |

The final 10 games of last season (when he averaged over 23 mins of ice time) and the World Championships (led gold medal winning team in ice time, wasn't out for a single ESGA the entire 10-game tourney) have raised my hopes that he can. - bmeltzer
If paired with kimmo he certainly can.
But yes I'd like to see him play well on the small ice for a longer period of time
The swedes won the championship with Gus a 3rd level pairing and tallinder a guy the devils just dumped for a mid level prospect at best. I don't know how much to put into that tourney |

What was with all the banning? - JAKEw1234
In earlier years there was more of a mixed bag of people and at night this place would blow up with drunken postings. There were also certain elements that created a certain level of hatred in even the best people.
I know how people feel about MJL but he's always kept it clean and he survived those years. Trust me when I say he's tame in comparison to some of the people who came on here with agendas. Not only did they get themselves banned but they took other people with them.
There was also personal issues with a certain click of posters and certain refs at the time that went beyond the thread. |

Raised hopes, and expectations are 2 different things. I hope he is able to, but I'm not about to bet my house he can. |

The Buzz was a wild place many years ago. Tim Panaccio was our main blogger before Bill came on full time (if I remember correctly...I had a lot of tabs open in those days). We posted hard and played harder. A couple people couldn't hang and had to split. That's just the way it was back then. Either you learned to hang or the Buzz consumed you. |

That is definately true. But I am glad it was fixed.
A certain person can be a real irritant, but he does do it in a way that the refs cant ban him. Does he know what he does...? He almost has too... IMO he is an instagator, but guys like me used to get banned for retalliation. |
