He does have 2 junior seasons left including an overage season. - ob18
Yes, but this would violate the unwritten statute that the Flyers MUST have a teenaged first round pick on the roster each and every year. |

Laughton looks solid. Skates better than I remember. Shot looks to be lethal as well. Going to bank that he makes the team this season.
Ghost's skating and puck handling ability was noticbly very solid.
Haag looked solid all around. Could use some work on his shot.
Morin really has to work on his shot. Could develop a lethal slapshot if he can fill out a little more and increase his accuracy.
Stolarz looks to have solid mechanics. Looked noticbly tall and thin from behind. Would like to see if he makes himself look bigger from the front. |

We already know the answer to the AHL eligibility. So that's irrelevant. Starting his ELC is a non factor in my opinion. Cap and waiver issues with other players could factor in. But other then that, it's about what's best for the player, if he is ready for the NHL. And if he is one of the top 12 forwards. - MJL
The Flyers dont operate based on your opinion. And the needs of the team come before the needs of the player. |

2 more seasons there
MINIMUM!!!! - Crimsoninja
And at least one Season as Player/Coach. Every Junior team should have at least one 21 year old player, to get beer for the rest of the team. |

And the Flyers don't operate based on your opinion either! So how is that statement relevant here? And sometimes the needs of the team and the player, are one in the same. |

It's Canada, so I just assume every 16 year old kid has a fake ID good until their 19th birthday, when they can legally drink. |

I didn't say they did. What I said is more goes into a decision if he stays or goes then if he is better then a top 12 forward. |

the kid is already bigger, stronger, faster than talbot. will be able to play with little pressure. but send him back down so the 17 yoas feel his wrath |

Well then making the statement that the Flyers don't operate based on my opinion, was nonsensical. And I addressed what you said in my previous reply. |

Yea I have to agree. When I was a Kid, Summer left like an eternity. Now it like 3 months and done... Just another 3 months of the year. Before we know it, camp will start. Hell, they are already showing previews for shows starting in September.... - youarewrong
yeah, i realize my reasons for wanting it to slow down are a little selfish. i really am dreading the start of law school. but if it eventually gets us out of this heat and back to hockey i guess ill take the inevitable good with the inevitable bad |

Scenario.
Flyers can't trade Mez so they waive Hall, Rosehill and Gervais the day before the season.
Pronger goes on LTIR. The Flyers cap is now app $64 + $4.97 = app $69 million.
Week 3 Mez gets injured. Cap stays at $69 million, but Mez's salary, while out, doesn't count towards the cap?
Do I have that right? |

an eye test and the reported 14 pounds of weight hes put on
6'1. look at the size of his traps/shoulders. hes close to 200. they were nothing like that last fall. all bigger dimensions than talbot.
cmon, hes gotta skate faster than talbot, maybe not.
this guy is ready for nhl hockey now. 4th line duties like richie started out with.

Well, next year, I'm taking 19 credits, including Physiology, immunology, biochem, molecular bio, and communications.
There will be multiple weeks where I have 4 exams in a row.
There will be roughly 40 oz of Red Bull imbibed during these weeks.
The Red Bull River will also be flowing during finals week where I get to sleep at sunrise.
The classes are hard. It's a lot of work and a lot of money |
