WTF is this Metropolitan Division crap.....?

So, the NHL kept the Pacific, Central, and Atlantic Divisons. However, they took every team that WAS in the Atlantic Division, and they are now int he Metropolitan Divison.

Oh and per NHL.com the new division names are Pacific, Central, Metropolitan, and Atlantic. We are the Metropolitan division

They could easily fix it by swapping the Florida teams with Pittsburgh and Columbus, which would give us a proper Atlantic division and a proper Northeast division.

And the only thing that would be lost is one or two Flyers/Pens games per season.

Still doing construction. Last 2 years we started out west on a 10 game road trip. Well last year we WOULD have started on a 9 game road trip.

They could easily fix it by swapping the Florida teams with Pittsburgh and Columbus, which would give us a proper Atlantic division and a proper Northeast division.

And the only thing that would be lost is one or two Flyers/Pens games per season.

Well , you know how places like Toronto, Ottawa, Detroit, and Buffalo are much more Atlantic than places like New Jersey and New York.

This whole new re-alignment, new playoff format, divison name, all (frank)ing blows.

I'm just breaking balls. The good thing about starting the season on that type of trip means the schedule after that is loaded with home games. Not a ton of travel in the dog days of an 82 game schedule is a good thing.

We also get 43 home games Again stupid NHL has 2 games at Yankee stadium BUT the NEW YORK rangers are not the home team for either game
