Should we buyout Bryzgalov?
We overpayed for Streit.
Lecavalier is a waste of cap space.
We need Jagr back.
We need Gagne back.

The school was originally Allentown College St. Francis De Sales. Something like that.

haha yeah. still a decent number of kids from there that go to DSU it seems like. it was a little bit of a shock to me, since it has a similar enrollment size to the high school i went to. it wasnt all bad though, and there were some aspects that were actually pretty nice.

but as far as nightlife or surrounding area or frats or anything of that ilk, it was pretty quiet

Ha!! I didn't grow up in Delaware, so I had to learn that rivalry on the fly as a Freshman.

If you worked in Wilmington where would you live in a 20 minute commute radius? I'm being offered a job there, was in the "city" overnight for the Interview and was very unimpressed with the downtown area.

psssh... Like there was even a rivalry... we had the hottest, sluttiest girls, the best drugs, and the best sports... And we didnt have to go to school in a city.

I always liked Temples mascot. Many don't realize but Temple used to be a night school. It was a school made for working class people who worked during the day and took classes at night. Hence the nocturnal Owl is the mascot.

Four seasons is totally overrated in terms of staying at the hotel. (Not including food, which is excellent. Brunch is the best). There are many other hotels which are just as nice but much less expensive. Four Seasons makes more money based on name and reputation.

I never stayed there, just had dinner. Wore a fancy suit, had 7-8 people eat for 80-120 bucks a piece. It was an awesome, wallet decimating meal

It depends.

If you have kids, you have to be aware that the public schools aren't great in Delaware, so brace yourself for possibly paying for Catholic or private schools.

I mean, there's a reason that a state that small has so many catholic and private high schools with tuition that approaches what a college tuition did 15 years ago.

I have relatives in what I guess could be North Wilmington, and the area is nice enough. The good part about that is you are close enough to PA and Philly, but you don't pay PA property taxes and such.

It was great. We had girls that didn't wear underwear under their skirts and you can tell in the stairwells... We once had a bombscare and it took 8 hours to clear because the dogs keep reacting to lockers with drugs in them... But yet we still got a good education.

At Overbrook (NJ) we set the state record for bomb scares in a year. 33, I think.
