That will certainly happen. Do you think anyone else gets the tryout? Morin or Hagg? Is Ghost eligible for a tryout or not because of NCAA rules.
- PhillySportsGuy

NCAA players can play in the AHL or NHL. However, once they play 1 game in either, their NCAA days are done. Hagg said he wants 2 more years in Sweden, and Morin would get destroyed if he played a regular season game. I think Laughton's the only prospect to get a tryout.

I blame Matt Carle for everything from the Flyers not making the playoffs to global warming

I'm telling you that his 92 goals has been prorated and adjusted accordingly with the goal-scoring level of his team as well as the scoring tendencies of the era. In a timeless scenario his 92 goals would theoretically be worth around 55 goals.

What about if they're goals from PBH with the 3-point line?

Ya he's also the reason they only have Twinkies: Lite Version now On the rare occasion I find myself eating a twinkie, I'm not worrying about the healthiness of it; that'd be like going to a gun store and trying to find which bullet is the healthiest to shoot yourself with. Ok it's not quite like that but you get the point

If the Flyers offered a spot to any of those players they'd jump at it no matter their plans.

I have never seen Morin play so I can't say he'd get destroyed in the NHL. I certainly don't expect him to be on the team in the next year or so. I think Hagg has a better chance of transitioning faster from what I've read.

No, I think he'll get a full season in the AHL. Maybe a game or 2 if (read: when) they get the injury pileup, but nothing extended.

College players lose NCAA eligibility the moment they sign a pro contract.

Hagg's under contract with MODO, I think.

Laughton, Morin and Stolarz are eligible for early-season auditions.

On Bobby Clarke's first NHL shift, he tried to put it between a player's legs, and had it stolen and it ended up in his net. He clearly should have been cut.

/relevant?

Laughton's already had his first shift. He looked good last year, and since then he's gained a wholelottaskill and put on, what, 15 + pounds of muscle?

Granted, I haven't seen Morin play either. But I don't think he has the foot speed/positioning/size to compete at the NHL level. That will come with experience. But yes, Hagg's a player who, if nothing else, could play in the AHL right now.
