Laughton should go back to the OHL, he will gain nothing from playing in the NHL with the Flyers. The only way he gets in is on the 4th line and I believe it will hurt his offensive game to be put in a shutdown role like they did with Coots
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

Richards and Carter both started on the 4th line in the NHL.

Granted, I haven't seen Morin play either. But I don't think he has the foot speed/positioning/size to compete at the NHL level. That will come with experience. But yes, Hagg's a player who, if nothing else, could play in the AHL right now.

How did Hagg drop that far? He's boom or bust?

Carter started out as the top-line winger with Gagne and Forsberg. Then they realized he couldn't hang and got dropped back.

He had a bad second half of the year. He kinda did the opposite of Morin.

I don't wanna argue with you I just don't understand how one of the best goal scoring seasons turns into 55 goals
- griouxmvp2012

Because, as a wise man once said (in yesterday's comments ), Matt Read could score 70 goals in a season if he was playing with Messier, Coffey, Anderson, and Kurri. That's not a rip on Gretzky, I'm just saying that his goal number was prorated to try to eliminate inflation that might've happened because he was playing on such a stupidly stacked team.

Nope. The 4th line is the succubus of skills. It is the place where skilled hockey goes to die. Its like right field in your community softball league. You put the fat guys there and hope no one hits it to the left or right of them.

Maybe I'm old school, but when did starting on the 4th line and working your way up become a bad thing?

Mike Richards might have been a good player. Wish we hadn't started him on the 4th line. We'll never know if he could have been good or not.

That's strange for a guy that skilled to drop that far. Especially considering how big he is.

I agree with that but Rinaldo, Talbot, and Laughton forms one of the best 4th lines in the whole league. If Laughton would be playing with Rosehill and Hall on a nightly basis I wouldn't want him playing there.

Both players played large parts of thier rookie Seasons on the 4th line if I'm not mistaken.

Artificial sweeteners have actually been linked to increased hunger, lower metabolism, deregulated blood sugar levels... so unless you like weight gain, increased instances of heart problems and diabetes, I'd stay away from Diet Coke.

At some level, scientists believe, the brain can distinguish between calorie-free sweetener and regular sugar but in those that drink diet soda at least once a day, new tests showed that the brain became confused and could no longer tell the difference.
If this is the case, then calorific intake and subsequent energy consumption cannot be 'calculated' and a person is tricked into thinking they need more food.

A reporter asked Wayne Gretzky how many goals and points he would score if playing against current players. Wayne replied 40 goals and 80 assists, to which the reporter replied, Really? You think this generation is that good? Why such low Numbers? Then Wayne replied, Because I'm 52 years old.

Part of it was that he moved from U20 to SEL and his production tailed off. Which is expected, but I guess the severity of the drop worried people.

I think we may see Laughton, Hall, Rinaldo. I think that's a solid 4th line.
