You forgot the - EKolb13red font.
If I could remember how to do the red font, I wouldn't have to be a boring accountant all my life. |

IIRC, walleye are of the perch family: are northern (and Muskie) perch too? - StLBravesFan
Im no marine biologist but I believe you are correcct about walleyes being in the perch family..although Ive seen them referred to ask walleyed pike.....northern and muskie are not perch related..a hybrid muskie is a cross between a northern and a muskie I do beleive.. |

Careful, now - it's not as glamorous as it appears on TV and in the movies. |

StlBraves is correct - can't do an extension until one year left on the current deal, so we have to wait a year. - mohel
Then maybe the extended Shaw, Hjalmarsson and Crawford in addition to Quenneville.

Governments need to invest in places that individuals and / or businesses won't: education, safety, infrastructure - these are investments with no direct and calculable return.
Businesses will flee locations that have higher tax rates that other locations, and go to locations giving tax and other incentives, but they will also flee areas that do not have the government services required for their businesses: a useful workforce, phsyical and property safety, transportation and other infrastructure improvements.
If the capitalistic owners of the Wings think that they can make money moving into a new facility, let them pay for it, NOT rely on socialistic government ownership to bail them out - ESPECIALLY when other government activities providing services to citizens will be dramatically reduced. If they want to move, let them move: Detroit - and ALL cities - would be better off with an environment that real businesses want to invest in, not hundreds of millions of dollars for limited-purpose toys for the (and I'll say it again) RICH owners who could afford to do for themselves.
Amazing how these limited-government business people want government to do for them but no one else.
EDIT: to say, back to hockey - or, actually, back to work. I've said all I can on this subject. - StLBravesFan
Detroit is dead
I cant believe the red wings want to stay there when half he population of the city is illiterate and could not spell red wings
Detroit is the perfect example of government central planning and its eventual results. just think fifety years ago Detroit had the highest per capita income in the united states
Noone is moving back to Detroit and anyone that can is moving out
The red wings should go across the river to Ontario for their new home |

An idea - couldn't they sign all of them, risk going over the cap in 2014/15 and then get rid of a contract if the cap doesn't go up enough? Gives the team, in effect, an option on each player. |
