i know. it's a joke we've been having on the thread, making fun of the people who want to fire Trevor Timmins because he drafted David Fischer 7 years ago.

He gave all the answers in the 10 questions so I asked the questions.

Please don't refer to me as idiot, moron, bumhole, or any French words

Bump because I put in my answers and my thoughts

1) Are comments made by Roenick about Kovalchuk bolting to the KHL appropriate?
No. Roenick just needs to accept that he's not playing in the NHL anymore and his t-shirt designs are crap

2) What are your thoughts on Jagr in New Jersey?
This will prove Jagr doesn't care about another cup and its just $$$ for him. Why the hell is he not in the KHL?

3) What are the impacts of Kovalchuk's departure to the KHL on the Devils? On Schneider?
The timing of this was off. If he had announced his decision a little bit earlier, the Devils could have done some planning and been a bigger player in the UFA market.

4) Do you think Wayne Simmonds is a candidate for a trade by the Flyers?
No way.

5) Where will Morrow end up? Is there a good chance he signs with the Habs?
It sounds like the Canes have a good shot. I think he could surprise everyone and potentially resign in Dallas

6) Who would you rather have, unrestricted free agent Ron Hainsey or unrestricted free agent Douglas Murray?
Either would be acceptable for the Leafs. Murray is a bit slow, so Hainsey is preferable. I think he has a Right handed shot that the leafs covet.

7) Did Mikhail Grabovski screw the pooch with his comments about Randy Carlyle after the Leafs decided to buy out the remainder of his contract?
No. As a Leafs fan, I loved this passion but kinda was wondering how come it took until the Bruins playoffs for him to step it up. I know he's buried on the third line but you can still work hard to prove you belong on line 2C or 1C if you aren't satisfied.

8) What's the best deal that's been signed since July 5th?
Lecavalier.

9) Any comments on the Habs schedule next season?
No. Just bored that Leafs and Habs start every damn season against each other

10) Sam Gagner and the Oilers avoid arbitration. Your thoughts?
Awful precedent that third liners that get to play top 6 minutes and put up mediocre point totals are now garnering contracts worth 4-5 mil

Eklund's "who wins the cup?" poll should be retitled to "what team do you cheer for?" judging by the results.

Or a how many leaf fans have no clue and how many think that if you won this year you will win again.

Edit. Ok so that is confusing lets compress that into a Leaf fans are fags poll.

Given enough ice time and a bonafide sniper on his wing Clarksson will be unstoppable.

It's like someone spliced Lindros and Clark genes together and then added Gilmours hockey sense in there as the cherry on top!

If the Flyers move anyone, I would think Holmgren would try to move, in order: Meszaros, Grossmann, or Coburn. I think Simmonds is literally on the cusp of "untouchable" not because of his skill, but because there are MAYBE 5 guys in the league who can do what Simmonds does with respect to his play and toughness. IF he is moved, it will be for a player of comparable value or skill.
- Flyers_V88

Sounds like Simmonds for dd is exactly what you are looking for
