After winning club box seats 4 years ago on the radio--I completely restructured the way I bought Flyers tickets. I used to buy a partial game plan.

But once I got my own private bathroom, wait-staff, and premium beverage selection--I said to myself--"self, maybe just do three or four games up in these seats."

But then you have to worry about those former Bullies sitting next to you and eating you hot dog and drinking your beer.

Yeah, like I said it'll be my first year doing this. I'm just excited for the games.I got the PowerPlay pack. Home Opener, Pens, Hawks, Wings, return of Danny. Never been to a home opener or to see any of those teams, Habs aside.

I was really hoping for seats to be open in 210A-211. Love that area.

IMO Habs are the most obnoxious traveling fans. Second is Sabres fans... Beware. Almost got in a fight with a guy wearing the "where is waldo" habs shirt....

Am I the only one who would much rather have ice level seats than club box seats?

In moments like this, I really appreciate that I bought club box tickets.

Whenever a fight breaks out, Gary Dornhoffer steps out of his usual haunt and right up to the pugilist and says: "Stop it right there."

Don't get me wrong--I love seats on the ice.

But I hate missing a goal/fight/save/hit standing in line to either ingest or expel liquids.

Those lines don't exist in 'da club

I've thought about it, but do they check these things ever? I'd hate to put down the cash, and partway into the season have them crack down on it.

@JFlyers00 I've got it bookmarked, never taken the plunge. How's the video quality? It'd be a bonus if they had a good Android app, to.

I had hockeystreams 2 years ago and game center last year. I had cable last year so there was no need for me to spoof my ip outside of the country. I live in an area where all philly games get blacked out on gamecenter yet they're not on tv. Now that I live alone I ditched cable.

As for quality, they were about the same. Great quality for both in hd. Gamecenter worked well on my iphone 4, ps3, and 360. Hockeystreams worked very well on the iphone as well, not sure if it will work for android. I'd imagine it should as its just a mobile version of the site they set up.

Since hockeystreams is cheaper and offers more content, I will be going with them. They were also more reliable to with their streams being working in my experience. The one issue with hocketystreams is that if for some reason they do get shut down, you're poop out of luck.

Edit - Hockeystreams is also a bit trickier to set up viewing one of the video game consoles.

I'm possibly in a distinct minority on this issue, but I really wish the professionals would get out of the Olympics.

I don't like ice-level seats. Can't see the game as well as being higher up and I despise glass-bangers.

Agreed. 203-205 & 209-211 are my favorite areas to watch. Our family's season tix are upstairs. Can see the plays develop & no blind spots.

I think just once, I would like to sit behind the penalty box during a grudge match game.
