I'm 211, row 15 seats 6 & 7. Where are you? - jmatchett383
Suffice to say, as the tickets are not mine, I can only answer that they're between 202 & 206. I don't want some of the more colorful folks that post/lurk here visiting my relatives. |

I think just once, I would like to sit behind the penalty box during a grudge match game. - Doc_Sarcasm
I sat behind the penalty box in Montreal for a game 3 of the Conf semifinals in 2002 vs the 'Canes. But not a lot of action there during playoffs, just 2 minutes with Karl Dykhuis. I actually enjoyed sitting behind the bench in the next game better. |

I don't like ice-level seats. Can't see the game as well as being higher up and I despise glass-bangers. - Scoob
I had seats behind the Flyers bench against WPG this past season. 6th row. Decent view. But yeah, upper level, first 7 rows is ideal. |

Besides their descent into obscurity?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Can't wait to buy an entire row of tickets for $2.00.

I'm possibly in a distinct minority on this issue, but I really wish the professionals would get out of the Olympics. I also realize that in many cases (Soviet Union) the professionals were always IN the Olympics. The pressure to win and the perceived rewards for winning are such that the spirit of amateurism will inevitably get shoved by the wayside.
But, I for one, love seeing college and non-professional athletes in all sports have a chance to compete in the Olympics. I also hate having the NHL season impacted by the Olympic break. This will be the second consecutive year that NHL fans have had to put up with a nonsensical schedule and the resultant plethora of subpar games to watch. I say subpar because again, on too many occasions, we will be left watching one or both teams in a game who are exhausted from 3 games in 4 nights. There's nothing quite like watching two teams who look like they're skating through mud.
On the flip side, it is an honor for the men chosen to represent their countries, and I certainly dont begrudge them that. - Doc_Sarcasm
Completely agree.

(frank) that, not waiting 5+ minutes to relieve myself, check, not having to go stand in line for concessions, check pretty good view of the ice, check. Being able to say I say in club box seat, check, oh yea the option to get VIP parking. Even after all that my living room is great place for any event. |

huh guess I must be the only one who doesn't mind the waiting that much I love being so close to the game, though. Having the guys we talk about so often and see so much on TV and in highlights be physically there, battling just a glass-panes length away from me is something I guess I find cooler than a lot of people. |

They each have their benefits. I'm in 107 (just a few rows behjnd the sign guy) so I'm right behind the net and have no blind spots. I can't see the play delevopment as well as the upper level but I feel like I'm practically part of the game. That Richards shift vs Mtl (loved seeing that again) and his goal was right in my face (so was Carter's inability to get the Puck over Neimi's blocker). . . |

Yeah, that is very cool.
Bottom line is that this sport is absolutely best seen in person and not on TV. |

I can agree with this. Though I *prefer* being upstairs, one should take in at least one game at both levels, for the reasons stated: speed of the game right in your face (downstairs) and watching plays develop (upstairs). |
