I would like to ask a serious question. Does anyone think that Gardiner is a real trade possibility? He is not a Carlyle type player and has been treated accordingly. I am sure they discussed it with Randy prior to trading him from the Ducks. He spent most of the year on the marlies and only got called up after his agent went public with comments .He was also a healthy scratch several games. I believe he is also rfa next summer. |

I'm praying he doesn't report - Yeti1181
He would surprise the HELL out of me if he reports. You have got to imagine that his agent send a nice little email saying...best not think my client is playing come September, brah.

He did, you're right.
That's why it was so refreshing when a coach who knew what situations to play him in came along. - Feeling Glucky?
This I agree with

Gardiner for Norris. They don't even have to decide it's been conceded. |

I think that changed in the playoffs. The guy got huge minutes in the most important time of the year. He'll get his shot this season. |

Carlyle seemed to use him quite a bit in the Boston series I think he ll still be a big part. |

Pretty sure he'd prefer to be bought out and get the hell out of there.
With the Schneider trade, he KNOWS he'll be the scapegoat (again) if things go south for the Canucks. The guy is in a situation it is impossible for him to have any respect unless he wins the Cup. |

Reimer for Luongo and first rounder, plus the Nucks eat half his salary. |

Paul mother(frank)in Ranger then he ll become a star again and we will have our number 2 to play with dion problem solved - Yeti1181
Ranger is at LEAST a #2
But actually, ya Ranger is the same thing, hopefully is a solid 3rd pairing dman with fraser. Then your spending no more than 2 mil on your third pairing. Contenders need to have cheap options to fill out the roster, thats why prospect depth is so valuable, you pull a chicago, win the cup, keep your core, trade any expensive depth players, fill with propects or cheap reclaimation projects, win cup again. |
