PPG winger? In 66 games once. Totally unreliable. And the book is still out on Robert Gordon. - honesthockey

Brilliant, brilliant trade by Burke. Terrible asset management by Anaheim. |

To Colorado: John Liles
To Toronto: Cody Mcleod
Makes sense for both teams and clears 2.72 in cap space for us.
JVR - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Clarkson
Colborne - Bolland - Kulemin
Mcleod - McClement - Orr/McClaren
Phaneuf - Gunnarsson
Franson - Fraser
Gardiner - Ranger
Holzer
Reimer/Bernier

Sure they would. They had Beauchemin for free and let him go only to give up a PPG winger and a good young puck-moving D 18 months later.
Terrilbe asset management. - RogerRoeper

They had Beauchemin already!
if Burke let a player go and then gave up players like Lupul+gardiner for the same player, he'd be laughed out-of-town.
No on cares about Anaheim, so you can get away with those terrible mistakes. |

Sometimes I think Randy was intentionally trying to sabotage the team. This is reason 1A. Do you think Boston was paying him off? - 1979AD
In all honesty, how could any Leaf fan that watched that Boston series not come away being really excited about Gardiner. Yeah, he made a couple mistakes but was clearly one of our best players in that series - against an incredibly tough veteran team in the fricken playoffs!!!!
Gardiner seemed to be everywhere on the ice, at times, it seemed like there were 5 Gardiners playing at the same time! LOL
This kid has incredible skating ability, his passing game and vision are off the charts and seems to have the talent to be a HUGE asset.
People on here are completely clueless! |

They had Shultz and Gardiner and didn't keep one of them, add in Fowler that they have, that defence would have three damn good puck movers. |

I thought his passing is very good. He makes some mistakes, so what? He's young. He can improve.
How many young D-men have the abilities of Gardiner? very few. |

(frank) Ranger. I was in an elevator with him and, trying to be friendly, I asked him how he was doing. He cried. He could have snapped my neck like a pencil but instead he went in the corner and layed down in the fetal position for half an hour. Took paramedics 3 hours and the jaws of life to get the (frank)er out. - UsernameUnknown
