the isles are ass. they would've missed the playoffs if it was a full season. the rangers were just figuring it out the last 13 games of the regular season and were the hottest team in the NHL going into the playoffs, on the climb to home ice advantage had it been a full season.

The Isles lost like two games the final 12 games of the season. Also I doubt they would miss if it was a longer season since most of their players play better usually toward the end.
