Yeah, it really isn't Tebow's fault that he's such a spectacle. I don't get it, but then I guess it doesn't really affect me. I've never been a regular ESPN viewer in any capacity. - BulliesPhan87
He can turn blood into wine and throw a post route. You better recognize... |

Water into wine, losses into wins, second string/unemployed QB (where is he now?) into sports celebrity, I can't tell is this guy is the second coming or just some kind of sports alchemist. |

He could probably score 50 goals in a season if you gave him a week to learn how to skate. |

Are you suggesting our new Lord Tim Tebow doesn't already know how to walk on water? |

He's in New England I believe---unless he's already been cut. |

That's one of the black eyes. They keep trying to come up with ways to make games exciting so fans won't stay home like in San Diego, Tennessee or Jacksonville. The problem is they're also changing peices of the game...like kickoffs. The most exciting play in the game may be no more, very soon.
I love hockey and it is gaining more and more popularity in the US and abroad. I hope it matches up with the NFL. That'd be tremendous. It's already past it for me. As you said we could see a swing in the coming years. Especially in the NorthEast. - HopintheCordoba
This is what I'm getting at. They're changing the exact parts of the game that are the reasons for their dramatic success. Now imagine your team losing a playoff game because a guy makes a tackle that was legal a year before. The game is so fast and there is always a chance that the head will be involved in a tackle. It's impossible to avoid but it's now a penalty in most cases. Trust me, it will ruin the appeal of the sport and it can happen quickly if people feel that the game is impossible to play within the new rules.

They're going to convert him to TE after the Hernandez mess and I predict he becomes an absolute beast at that position. Much to my and Dolphin fans everywhere dismay. |

Yeah that was my thought before Hernandez got arrested. He was going to be a flex RB/FB/WR type no matter what. He's not getting past Ryan Mallet much less Tom Brady. Not without foul play.
He will probably do fine but his best work should be at RB or FB. That's just what he is. |

He's terrible at throwing the ball, which is a bit of a problem for a QB. |

Sit at home for free, nice and warm, get some beer and food from the fridge whenever you want it, great view and replays.
---or---
Sit at the game for $100+, crammed into your seat, freezing cold, paying $8 for crappy beer and $6 for a hot dog, horrible view and maybe see the JumboTron for replays
I'll take the first one. |

Well, that was an amusing read through the comments.
One of the most overused phrases in all of sports, bandwagon fans. The point that people hate on others that start to follow a team is mind boggling. Everyone is a "new fan" of their team at some point so why hate on them?
When I first moved here no one I knew watched hockey but since it was always on my tv when they came over they became fans of hockey (fans of phili so they are flyer fans ). They didn't know anything about the sport but now they are huge fans. I just don't understand people getting pissed that hockey is growing and gaining new fans. Rant over. |
