9. Dallas Stars - This team is my pick to be the disappointment of the season. Which is funny, because last year, and I said they'd be the disappointment of the season. The roster is a confused mess.

21. Philadelphia Flyers - Yet another place Ryan Miller or Tim Thomas could end up. An absolute dartboard of a roster, what makes me sad here is that the team will eventually deal away their good young players (Schenn x 2 and Couturier) to make room for crusty has-beens. Thats the one problem I have always had with the story.. Everything else IMO has a reasonable explanation but not that.

You're right. It's not ridiculous. What IS though is how 19 men were able to cripple the word's most technologically advanced nation in a matter of hours, despite the US having intelligence from several countries saying this would happen? Why did Donald Rumsfeld order a Stand-Down on planes that would have been able to intercept them and stop this?

I think the main point here people are missing is not IF this happened, but was it LET to happen?

You're entirely right. And the explanation given at the time is that the kerosene fuel vaporized everything LMFAO! Anyone with an understanding in chemistry knows that kerosene (jet fuel) only combusts at a certain temperature, lower than the meltin-point of the mateirals used for the structure of the plane. Therefore, there SHOULD have been MUCH more wreckage than there was... Also, IF there is nothing to hide, why did the FBI and NSA confiscate ALL security footage for miles and miles? Why doesn't the FBI just release a clear tape showing this "plane" flying in?

Winnipeg has done nothing but make dumb decisions. Passing on Cortuirier while all the fans wanted him, these insane signings, and letting so many core players all at once have to be signed.

Yeah but the passengers had no idea that the plan was to crash into buildings. Usually hijackings turn into advanced kidnappings and the hijackers getting some sort of ransom or something.

Just so everyone knows Im with the 19 hijackers side of the debate. I think the FBI should just release the tapes and shut everyone up. I think they are holding them as a security measure.
