If he keeps his pace of 4 g 15 point 46games with a -8, he won't be a 20 y/0 3 line centre for very long. - JETSWIN
Kinda hard to produce solid numbers when your wingers are Jay Rosehill, Zac Rinaldo, and Ruslan Fedotenko on the 3rd and 4th lines.

Well hows this one best friends dad was a fire fighter in 911 who saved countless peoples lives and saw the 2nd plane hit the tower. This was absoluetly caused by a plane highjacking to think otherwise is rediculas. I find it disrespectful for people to tell me that some of my loved ones died at the hands of some conspiracy theory. Read all the internet bullpoop you want. - Dgmilazz
It's not about being disrespectful, it's about knowing what actually happened, what the media said happened and what actually happened are so far apart there's no way to actually believe what was told. Your family deserves closure, and what you were given as closure has wayyyy too many holes. Someone as directly affected by the incident as yourself should maybe try looking for answers yourself instead of taking what you're given at face value. If you conclude that what they told you was true, then that's what you can believe. |

I admire your resolve. But there is really no such thing as unbiased sources. Even first hand experience is biased. Scientific study tries to eliminate bias but has a propensity for failure. The beat we can hope for is to take the left with the right, the good with the bad, the clear and the obscure and try to find the middle ground. The conspiracy theories have truth, the government stories have truth. What good is a lie if it contains no truth. I have often found the best action is to fence sit. Be open. Be tolerant. Objectivity is rare and I fear I would not know if it stood in front of me. These are the problems in bridging gaps in ideas and lifestyle. I feel that so long as we root in one set of ideas, we are missing the point which as Clouts outlined is that 9/11 was abhorrable and the United States of America have yet to truly recover from it (in my view).
I'm an atheist who is adamant on understanding what about religion I am disagreeing with. Perhaps we can find common ground by looking for it rather than by attempting to convince othersthey are right.
Sorry for the novel. - braidonh
I am an anti-theist, religion needs to go. |

Steel melts at 2750F yes? Jet fuel burns up to 1500F.. so basically just over half of what it would of taken to melt the steel, that to you is enough to cause complete "controlled" collapse? I hope you don't design any buildings in my city. - SpoiledByOil
With the added stresses and pressures of holding up a building yea the steel beams would bend pretty significantly. Melt and bend are two completely different animals. The MOE of steel makes it strong but once it passes a certain level of temperature and stress it will bend SIGNIFICANTLY before its close to melting. |

It's true, so am I! Truth is though Canada isn't perfect either. All it takes is a few a$$holes and everyone hates each other.
That being said, just when you think everyone sucks, someone does something to make you realize that's not true. - The-O-G
Canada definitely isn't perfect, but it's perfect for me . There is a lot of good in the world, sad that the bad is what takes over the media, for every story you hear that warms your heart there's a hundred that break it. |

so wait... Couts, despite playing 2 years in the NHL by 20, won't be anything more than a 3rd line centre. based on that logic, Scheifele will spend his career in Germany. - DoubleDown
So you can't evaluate a persons play in the league for the first two years because he's too young, but you can make the assumption a high first round draft will never play in the nhl full time because he hasn't as of yet. You mean that kinda logic?

3. Buffalo Sabres - Which player will make the NHL first: Mikhail Grigorenko or Zemgus Girgensons? I ripped this off from someone else on Twitter. It sounds like Girgensons will be the NHL regular first, but he's a future 3rd line guy. Between Hodgson, Grigorenko and Girgensons, the Sabres are set down the middle for years. They should really go full rebuild: Deal Vanek for two young quality prospects; deal Stafford for one...buyout Leino, deal Miller if you can. Move Ennis for a winger with size...Hodgson, Grig, Girg, four players from moving Vanek, Stafford and Ennis, plus Pysyk, Ristolainen, Armia, Myers, Ehrhoff, Foligno and Enroth...You have a team with enough high end young talent that you should be beating everyone in about three seasons. Amazing core just sitting there waiting to be pulled together. - Maxbone
First) Grigorenko has technically already made the nhl, and will probably play for the team next year.
2)Girgensons has a lot of potential and i wouldn't throw him into just a 3rd line category yet.
3)Why trade Stafford at his lowest value. There is no way he can do worse than he did last year, he still has years on his contract, we don't have many wingers.
4) I really thought the "buyout leino" stuff was over. He isn't that bad when he's healthy and again the Sabres don't have many wingers.
5) Trading Ennis for size means we give up scoring which we can't really do. |

Military Historian by nature, don't worry, I don't deal in the insanity of political machinations unless I have to. I think you guys are full of poop with the conspiracy theories, but go on. It won't bring back the dead or change the outcome regardless and everybody has a right to free speech even if governments think it's a liability. - AdamFrench
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I hate talking about this poop for the exact reason.
I will believe what I want to believe and everyone can suck it as far as I'm concerned. Doesn't make me right, doesn't make anyone else wrong. It's what I believe.
9/11 is an incredibly sensitive topic. My problem with it and any other controversial political topic is that people are too comfortable with the status quo.
The only reason civilization has reach it's current point is because there were people who were never satisfied in a search for information. That's my problem. Nobody want's to ask questions anymore.
I could care less if people think the way I do. I care that people today don't think at all. |

Talk to an engineer, because you're making yourself look ridiculous.
The shock of the impact, let alone the blast and relative heat, the impact of a plane slamming into it alone is enough to compromise the structure of many large buildings.
You're taking information that doesn't make sense to you and trying to say its evidence that proves its a scam. It doesn't work that way. |

A building has never fallen, let alone one as large as either of the Twin Towers, from a plane hitting in modern history. It somehow happened twice that day.
By your accounts, a mass fell through the greatest path of resistance at nearly the same rate it would have fallen through nothing but air.
That's not physically possible in the scenario in question. |

A 757 would have demolished most of the square in which you see damage. There would be a MASSIVE hole in that building. - mochoson
Lol!!
There IS a massive hole, look at the cars and trees by comparison.
The pic seems fine to me. I not sure but I think the pentagon is built with a little than just sheet rock. Did u really expect to see two lines where the wings were?

http://consciouslifenews....bert-stubblebine/1145271/ - SpoiledByOil
Well Mr. All knowing, please don't presume to tell me what I know, what I don't know and what I've researched. This topic is one that myself and most inquisitive Americans have spent plenty of time reading about. I like many, just don't buy into every dope that writes a conspiracy article or blog. I like to apply a little thing called logic when examining the entire scope of that days events. I don't pick out a few questionable details and then scream government cover up.
But whether you and your conspiracy theorist buddy likes it or not, the objective facts in the matter out weigh the subjective ones so severely, that it's really not a topic worth discussion at this point. But people like you who think by taking one or two ambiguous and extremely subjective pieces of evidence and basing an entire cause and effect conclusion on them are nothing more than conspiracy dullards.
As I pointed out in my last post, there are still obvious questions that have not been answered, but in the absence of answers does not lie an entire complete government conspiracy and cover up.
Theories are just that, theories. Whether they cause a person to lean one way or the other simply boils down to how logical or illogical a person is prepared to think.
If it helps you sleep at night to make conclusions based on who dunnit garbage you read on internet conspiracy web sites, by all means have at it. Lord knows there are plenty of whack jobs that will support you.
But don't try and jam your very subjective and opinionated thoughts down my throat bud. |
