Laugh all you want, but the NHL gave you those picks. Look how many other teams have struggled for so long and have received nothing in the form of compensation or draft picks... But, it's Wayne's old team, the face of hockey in the 80s and early 90s, can't let them re-locate or go under.
On another note as well, I won't get into 9/11 because that's a whole other topic, and your comment was clearly meant as a sarcastic chirpy comment, but do some research on that if you're curious. You'll be shockingly surprised... - Flyers_V88
This. This is what set off possibly the most ridiculous convo this thread has seen, and that is saying something. Should we engage in a debate about the reptilians next? Maybe we should also discuss the (frank)ing NWO and the Illuminati while we're at it. SOMEBODY GET JESSE VENTURA AND ALEX JONES.
Hate. Just.....hate. |

A building has never fallen, let alone one as large as either of the Twin Towers, has ever fallen from a plane hitting in modern history. It somehow happened twice that day.
By your accounts, a mass fell through the greatest path of resistance at nearly the same rate it would have fallen through nothing but air.
That's not physically possible in the scenario in question. - mochoson
Let's see your list of massive passenger jet liners that have slammed into other 100+ story buildings to compare to?
The idea that the bigger the building is the more impossible that is, is false. Larger buildings can be more susceptible to impact shots at either end, top or bottom. The impact from that shot alone before considering the following blast and relative heat would have rattled that entire building, gaining strength like a typhoon right to its foundations. There's a case to be made that the impact of one building hitting the ground would have been more traumatic to the other building than a record magnitude at its base.
What do you think happens if god hits the tallest building in the world right at its peak with a baseball bat? It rattles like a jenga tower, until its base can't hold itself.
I don't give a (frank) what either of you think. I build structures for a living, and I'm telling you it's far from impossible. Not asking. |

I don't understand how you can truly think "Terrorists" destroyed those towers.
Do you also believe that two men set off a bomb at the Boston Marathon successfully detonating an explosive on American soil and then STAYED in Boston to be caught days later? - mochoson
Omg!! They stayed in Boston !!! Incredible story, never been done.
Do you have a movie in the works? |

Well Mr. All knowing, please don't presume to tell me what I know, what I don't know and what I've researched. This topic is one that myself and most inquisitive Americans have spent plenty of time reading about. I like many, just don't buy into every dope that writes a conspiracy article or blog. I like to apply a little thing called logic when examining the entire scope of that days events. I don't pick out a few questionable details and then scream government cover up.
But whether you and your conspiracy theorist buddy likes it or not, the objective facts in the matter out weigh the subjective ones so severely, that it's really not a topic worth discussion at this point. But people like you who think by taking one or two ambiguous and extremely subjective pieces of evidence and basing an entire cause and effect conclusion on them are nothing more than conspiracy dullards.
As I pointed out in my last post, there are still obvious questions that have not been answered, but in the absence of answers does not lie an entire complete government conspiracy and cover up.
Theories are just that, theories. Whether they cause a person to lean one way or the other simply boils down to how logical or illogical a person is prepared to think.
If it helps you sleep at night to make conclusions based on who dunnit garbage you read on internet conspiracy web sites, by all means have it. Lord knows there are plenty of whack jobs that will support you.
But don't try and jam your very subjective and opinionated thoughts down my throat bud. - MnGump
Pretty common tactic to discredit those who think a little differently as 'whack jobs'
Fox News has mastered this

the biggest problem in the world today is hands down religion. Superstitious bullpoop written by a bunch of half literate goat farmers thousands of years ago that had no explanations for anything around them. - SpoiledByOil
Ever notice how the religious come up with these whacked out ideas and try and get everyone on board with it? They think they know something we don't and say the stupidest poop to defend their opinion? Pretty annoying, no? |

and still managing to lower our collective IQs. Stupid is stupid no matter how well structured it is.
Let me end this. It happened. A while ago. Even if someone was found culpable (which they never (frank)ing will be), it doesn't matter. Nothing conclusive or constructive will ever happen as a result of this tired ass and completely subjective discussion. Move. The. (frank). On. People.
Want to discuss something? Fine. How about Syria? Or Snowden? Or the NSA? Or any one of a thousand far more current and relevant topics. Good god I can usually handle the inherent idiocy in Clouts threads but this is just....

I'll state right out of the gate, that I know very little about this third building. My comment was in response to that idea that a massive jet liner striking a hulking building that far off the ground would be sheer impossibility with regards to compromising the structure.
I will say again that it works at both ends. Enough force rattling the base of any untouched building would absolutely cripple it, such as, a 100+ storey building hitting the ground in a pile beside it. I'm not going to pretend to know the forces involved in a building falling I know little about.
It's speculative. No different than taking supposed irregularities and using it as evidence that a conspiracy exists. |

Talk to an engineer, because you're making yourself look ridiculous.
The shock of the impact, let alone the blast and relative heat, the impact of a plane slamming into it alone is enough to compromise the structure of many large buildings.
You're taking information that doesn't make sense to you and trying to say its evidence that proves its a scam. It doesn't work that way. - joel878
I'm the one who looks ridiculous because I don't think an airplane hitting a building would cause it to collapse in a controlled manner?? HAHAHA alright buddy, look in the mirror and you'll see something ridiculous. |

The 3rd building and pentagon are massively huge questions that are just swept aside. If you raise these question you are immediately labeled a conspiracy whack job.
I see a problem with this.
