Hey like I said, I think 99% of it is crap.
But the evidence for the 9/11 stuff is just overwhelming to me.

Watch the movie 'Zeitgeist' and examine the evidence shown. You can look it all up too.
I used to have to same reactions as you but after really lookin at the evidence I changed my mind.

The Bruins will not be trading Marchand
Once the season begins Savard will be placed on LTIR and the Bruins cap issues will be put to bed. They're not trading a guy who is capable of 30 goals a year and can agitate just about anyone. |

We'll agree to disagree i guess. FA=overpayment. I get it. Doesn't change the validity of a players true value IMO - Cptmjl
Tavares should be making $7M though. He took WAY less than market value to allow the team to get better, cause he knows he'll make more later.

So you are overwhelmed by the untrue and misleading crap that you saw in one movie that was made specifically to be untrue and misleading?
I'll bet you are looking forward to having Jenny McCarthy on the View. |

I've watched all the conspiracy videos and there are outstanding questions. I remember watching the 9/11 coverage on the news and wondered why there was molten metal and sparks coming out some hole in the building well below where the plane hit.
Other than that - of course the wool is being pulled over our eyes, democracy is dead. |

he should have bridged deal'd it. We would be makign 7,7.5 this season if he did. Duchene did and makes 6 now, and its a pretty legit deal for him since he will only become a strong player in a season or 2. |

I would have to disagree with this. As for Pitts people have to remember that Crosby and Malkin are generational talents. Also they started in 2002 drafting in the 1-5 range with (Whitney, Fleury, Malkin, Crosby and Staal) and didn't win until 08-09. So it took 5 years of drafting 1-5 and then 3 years to win the cup. Within that time they added key players as well as having Crosby and Malkin.
As for Chi most people just think of Toews 06 and Kane 07 and how quickly they won 09-10 after drafting them. But you have to go back farther then that to one of the most important Blackhawk Duncan Keith. 02 - Keith; 03 - Byfuglien, Crawford, Seabrook; 04 - Brouwer, Bickell, Bolland; 05 - Hjalmarsson. So over 6 years of drafting and then 3 years to win the cup. Within that time they added key players as well.
As for the Oilers I would say the official rebuild started with Hall 2010. It is no big secret that the Oilers drafting in the past has been very subpar but I would go back as far as 07 with Gagner as a player that can have an impact on the future of the team as well with Eberle in 08. So 07 - Gagner; 08 - Eberle; 10 - Hall; 11 - RNH, Klefbom?; 12 - Yakupov; 13 - Nurse? So thats the same amount of years of drafting as Chi with 2 big exceptions. Chi drafted a lot more NHl players and they managed to draft their top 2 d and goalie early and forwards later. Edm is the reverse with their D and it takes time for D to develop. Also another thing to note is it is harder for Edm to bring in UFA's compared to Pitts and Chi. So by these 2 teams track records in 3 years we should win the cup I don't think in 3 more seasons Edmonton is winning the cup but I think they should be a threat for it. - EastCoastOiler

No it's stuff like the building that didn't get hit by a plane collapsing in a controled demolition later that day. Or zero evidence of a plane hitting the pentagon. Small stuff like that.
Again, I used to have the same 'your crazy' reaction as you are having, but after looking at it objectively I had to change my mind.

I know I'm feeding into the reaction Clouts wants but....
"21. Philadelphia Flyers - Yet another place Ryan Miller or Tim Thomas could end up. An absolute dartboard of a roster, what makes me sad here is that the team will eventually deal away their good young players (Schenn x 2 and Couturier) to make room for crusty has-beens. Disastrously run franchise."
Is an astoundingly poor assessment of the Flyers. Over paying Thomas or over Paying for Miller and Clouts would say it was horrible.
How is a roster that only got better up front by subtracting Briere, adding Vinny. Has young players coming into years that should see them get more productive, and a solid mix of vets and youth, a dartboard. Maybe the 4th line is, but most 4th lines are.
They picked up guys like Vinny and Streit to AVOID moving their young guys. (Schenn x2 and Couturier). The cap will go up next year and most of their team is locked up. They won't need to move anyone to make room for the vets on the roster.
Disastrously thought out assessment of the Flyers. |

The general narrative I've always heard is this was a secret government operation - blah blah blah - to increase power and scope of government.
That's a right-wing nutjob narrative. - Atomic Wedgie
When referring to themselves? No. Ironically enough that's all the current administration has done since taking their jobs. I don't think that's the best analogy? |

But nobody is arguing that.
100% of Leafs fans would take Tavares over Clarkson.
We weren't given that option.
Look at every single player taken in the top 5 picks, playing on a contract signed as a RFA. They are all grossly underpaid.

Two Gems I read today
1 - No I wouldn't buyout Hemsky I'd almost extend him 3-5 years around 3-3.2mil.
2 - IMO in 5 years Franson could be one of the best d-men in the league. - Lahey

Worst trade in the last five years by far but i have to say the Clarkson contract is brutal. The guy will be in therapy for the rest of his life by the second year of that contract after he doesn't live up to it. He's not that good. To put it in perspective he's getting paid just as much as Tavares with one year less on his term - Cptmjl
I really think Clowes is worse. No doubt in my mind that Clarkson will be crap for the final 3 years of that contract. Clowe is already washed up and signed for 400K/yr less for 5 years! I think hes 2 years older than Clarkson too.
We're getting the player for 2 good years (hopefully) of where he deserves his contract. Maybe three. After that, all youre left with is the Clowe contract |

Agreed. Even though I've been a critic of Snow I have to say he is very good at getting players signed to good deals as far as the team's perspective. Before you bring up DP Wang has publicly admitted to being the only one involved in that deal contrary to public belief. Snow had nothing to do with it. |

Mr. Cloutier, you need to do some research regarding the Flyers. First off, 16 playoff appearances in the last 18 years is better than nearly every other team in the league. Secondly, if they WERE willing to part with both Schenns and Couturier, Weber would already be a Flyer. I think fans of many organizations wish their clubs were run as well as the Flyers are.
As far as Edmonton goes, time will tell. While they have a lot of young talent, they are undersized up front and there are some holes on D, also Dubnyk has not yet proven that he can be a goalie that will take a team deep into the playoffs or even that he can be a successful starter at the NHL level. |
