Great deal for the Blues. That's a good, fair cap hit for Bouwmeester. |

I'd be surprised if Pietrangelo would sign a deal like that. Not even close to enough money for Pietrangelo to willing to sign that long of a deal. - MJL
Throw in an NMC and 6.5 is close. He's in the same spot doughty was a couple years ago when he got his deal. A big Norris candidate year followed by a bit of a down tick. It'll prob come in around 7-7.5 if it's no NMC |

I agree guys, I think the Blues enhanced their long term cap situation while keeping a quality player. |

Oh no! Could it be? Is Jay Bouwmeester really lost to us forever? This is indeed a dark day |

Amaro is clueless. I swear the dude wants to so badly hang with the top teams in the MLB, but everything he touches turns to poop. The Phils are in deep poop. |

I read it too. Nice work! I think bourdon did get in some phantoms games last year but had setbacks.
Hopefully mab can make a full recovery from these concussions. Really liked his play |

I think it's ownership that has his hands tied in trading away guys like lee, Utley, etc. these guys are extremely marketable. That and amaro is prob very gunshy Bc his trading track record is god awful
Either way. Yes the phillies are screwed. The franchise plans to keep riding the coat tails of 2008 |

What do you mean? He was suppose to take over for Kimmo Timonen and become the next Chris Pronger, while becoming our lord and savior in the process... |

It's not close. Why would Pietrangelo give up that many of his UFA years, for that amount of money?
