I'd rather have Price in net for Team Canada than Lou. Laugh all you want, I don't think Lou has the confidence to carry the team at this point, and Price has all the talent in the world.

I agree with most of what you say... but Price has had problems of his own last year after a great start.

If he's playing his best hockey, I believe Price is easily one of the best goaltenders in the world.

Sadly, he has yet to show it on a regular basis for a whole season/playoffs. Always has some stretches of bad games. Last year it happened at the end of the season + playoffs and we didn't have the team to win without him being at least very good.

Yeah, hiring Stéphane Waite as our goalie coach can only be considered a good thing... the guy did very well with Niemi and Crawford in Chicago so I'm happy he gets to work with Price.

Hopefully you're right about the Olympics, I except team Canada to pick the "hot" goaltender when they make their choice, could be Price, or another.
