Flyers and Canes look like good value to me.
Blues, Canucks, Habs and Oil don't. I like the Blues but if I'm betting them I want better payoff. |

at 30/1 i'll take a shot on the islanders, at 40/1 I have to throw a few bucks on my devils, they always seem to show up when the so called experts bury them. biggest sucker play has to be the pens at 5/1. teams that don't bother playing defense, don't win the cup. - devfan30
The Penguins are so poorly structured it's unbelievable that people still think they could win the Cup. Way too top heavy. Not enough offensive depth. D isn't good enough. Goaltending is just awful. And what have they done this summer to make themselves any better??? |

fowards from the habs...sorry didn't know i had to be that specific. But feel free to tell me which forwards you would replace our top 3 lines with from your team instead of going for the cheap chirp about grammar. |

Really? Only certain NHL team fans can talk trash? Thanks for the tip. BTW, were you even alive the last time Toronto won a cup??? Just curious. I know I wasn't and I'm 42 years old. Wild have been in the league all of 14 years So please, tell me more about winning squat... - MnGump

I guess it's part of being the "center of the hockey universe".
Boy will the haters love that last sentence!

i agree. My original post was 'i think ANAHIEM and the habs are too high, and i'm not just hating on the habs'..
somehow, it came off as HATING on the habs. Nevermind the ducks. |

In an optimistic look, that crushing defeat should be fresh motivation for a considerable time to come(and the leafs pushed a Boston team that they'd been known to be horrid versus to game 7's final minutes), but a series loss is a series loss no matter how you look at it. |

no, no i understood your post, and still laughed.
not debating with you brother. your objectivity on the matter seems somewhat questionable. so i'll just agree. none of the Habs forwards aside from maybe Plekanec could crack the Leafs top 9. |

I thought the Canucks were too high as well, just didnt feel like getting flamed by their fans. I dont think they are terrible, but IMO theres a handful of teams with worse odds that i think have a better chance |

yeah, ok, fair enough. but as a Habs fan, i could look at our playoffs and say that we were missing half our forwards, lost 2 games with our backup goalie in net and saw Anderson steal at least 2 games in that series. but i think that at the end of the day, a series loss is a series loss and there are no excuses. |

Funny, but in all seriousness, they should be ahead of the canucks. - clark_griswold

Oilers at 30/1 is an awful bet. I'd put them more realistically at 100/1. |

so im not being objective when I say price is much better in net and both D are a wash? You haven't said anything decent about the buds
how bout you tell me which forwards would crack the leafs top nine? and don't say max would beat out a 3rd liner on the leafs, go line for line. So max vs say a healthy lupul or kessel, etc. |

nucks should be 300/1.
sedins will never win a cup for them, too soft, weak willed. made a huge error in keeping luongo.another cupless team like the crapitals. |

In part, but also because the canucks are getting older and worse, and that's scary since their playoffs have been awful since game 5 of the cup final. Leafs aren't close either, but we are projecting up.
i'll save you the 'at least we made the playoffs', we're talking next year. |

say what you want about the collapse, but we competed with a hell of a team and kept up physically. Im not trashing the habs, but you got smoked and beat up by practically the sens AHL team. - clark_griswold

The Canucks should blow it up, trade the Sedins for prospects/picks and start building through the draft, that's how championships are won |

Far too analytical. Montreal lost because Ottawa pounded the snot out of them. I don't think Montreal has really changed their structure, other than adding a fighter who will skate 4 minutes a night.
Not much love from me for the CH. |

alot prouder than shooting the puck at a sen, or attempting to get into a line brawl in which you got lit up in every fight. Lost the series 4-1, blown out, ottawa players and coaches laughing at you..do you want me to continue??
