Far too analytical. Montreal lost because Ottawa pounded the snot out of them. I don't think Montreal has really changed their structure, other than adding a fighter who will skate 4 minutes a night.

but it's a GUARANTEE? it's impossible for him to get even 1 more point than his career high? i'm not saying he will, or he will even get 20 goals. But just because you dislike a team, there's a difference between hoping they do poorly and guaranteeing it. Price has sucked in the playoffs his whole career but i wouldn't bet against him nor guarantee he will stink it up again just cause i don't like the habs.

i don't take these forums personally at all; i try to avoid the personal attacks. That's why i emphasized in my original post 'not hating on the habs', yet i get attacked. I don't see anything in my posts i have said to you that is 'personal' or where i need to relax. I find these forums amusing to be honest.

Personally I like the Leafs and normally don't mess with Leafs fans period. Honestly I was heart broken for Leafs fans when they lost that game. Hope they bounce back this season.

WORST. COLLAPSE. NHL PLAYOFF. HISTORY. It took Toronto a decade just to get in the show and then they blew it in history making fashion. But yeah, the leafs top 9 is better than the Habs. I mean, who could Galchenyuk/pacioretty/Pleks/ Gallagher/Eller/briere replace on Toronto? They definitely couldn't bump down anyone in your elite center group.

Clarkson and Phaneuf are dust, Bozak is garbage and Lupul eventually regresses back into his invisible injury plaqued self. Kessel is alright offensively but he's one-dimensional, Kadri is the only thing they got going for them and he's not even signed yet and due for a huge payday

I thought the Canucks were too high as well, just didnt feel like getting flamed by their fans. I dont think they are terrible, but IMO theres a handful of teams with worse odds that i think have a better chance

The Canucks have to be one of the most difficult teams to accurately handicap at this point. Bringing in Tortorella could easily propel them back into a major contender. Or he might not. Luongo could absolutely play lights out again this season. Or he might not. Like every team a couple key injuries could also easily derail the whole thing.
